Health Services

Overview

As a department, our focus is supporting student health and academic success. We are committed to contributing to a healthy and safe environment in which all students can learn. Our staff is comprised of two school nurses and the building secretaries. We work closely with students, their families and school staff to promote better health and greater learning. Our team is responsible for performing direct student care, mandated health screenings, maintaining immunization compliance, assessing student health needs, administering medication, developing and implementing individual/emergency care plans, conducting in-service training for school staff, providing health education to students, working with the Department of Health in the control of communicable diseases and taking care of other health related issues that are present in the educational setting.

If you have a question or concern about your student's health, please give the school nurse a call at (509) 689-2581 x2606.
