Mrs. Crooks and Miss Miller's first grade classes adopted dairy cows through Discovery Dairy's Adopt a Cow program, and just got their official adoption certificates. Miss Miller's class has a Holstein named Delilah, and Mrs. Crooks' class has a Jersey named Sunset. They live at Dan Maur Farms in Othello, WA. 

The classes will be watching their calves grow and develop throughout the school year. Students will keep track of their health and well-being just like their farmer does every day. They'll also learn about Sunset and Delilah's roles on the farm, and how one day they will produce wholesome milk for us all.
