Brewster School District came together on November 6, 2025 for a powerful Veterans Day assembly to honor our Veterans and Active Duty Service Members.
TK students led the Pledge of Allegiance in sign language, followed by the 8th grade and high school Treble Choir performing a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem. Our high school leadership students served as guest speakers, sharing messages of gratitude and respect. Brewster American Legion Post 97 presented the colors, and we were honored to welcome guest speaker Sergeant First Class Timothy Crockett from Joint Base Lewis McChord. Students, families, community members, veterans, active duty service members, and guests from The Log Church Christian School filled the gym with pride and patriotism.
A special thank you to our music director, Alicia Pulsifer, and her high school band and middle school and high school choirs for providing the heart of the program, and to community partners Chelan Starbucks, Blue Star Coffee, and Gebbers Farms for their generous contributions to our veteran gift bags. Elementary, middle school, and high school students also wrote heartfelt thank you notes to include in the gift bags. When our schools and community come together like this to say “Thank you for your service,” it truly makes a difference. ❤️
